(Glenwood) On Thursday, the Mills County Sheriff’s Office appointed Chief Deputy Josh England as the new Mills County Sheriff.
According to the Mills County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Sheriff England has been with the Mills County Sheriff’s Office since 2009, with roles as a K9 Handler, Sergeant, and Chief Deputy.
Before joining the Mills County Sheriff’s Department, England was with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in Key West, Florida, and the Atlantic Police Department.
England says he looks forward to his new role as Sheriff and wants to “keep a positive environment within the office and community.”
