(Undated) — Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is canceling his TV ads one month before the GOP primary voting season begins.
Ramaswamy’s campaign press secretary said they’re focusing on his supporters using “addressable advertising, mail, text, and live calls.” His ad spending is far lower than other Republican candidates. Voter momentum towards Ramaswamy has dropped in recent weeks. In Iowa, Trump holds a 33-percentage point lead, while Ramaswamy has less than six-percent of voter support.
Meanwhile, Ramaswamy will do a second round of campaign stops in southwest Iowa this week. Town Hall’s will be held on Thursday at Lincoln’s Pub in Council Bluffs at 9:30 a.m., Pizza Ranch in Harlan at 12:30 p.m., Blue Grass Inn & Suites in Audubon at 2:00 p.m., Rowe Conference Center (Rock Island Depot) in Atlantic at 3:15 p.m., The Olive Branch in Greenfield at 4:45 p.m., and Ruby’s Pub & Grill in Stuart at 6:00 p.m.
