(Audubon Co) The Burn Ban for Audubon County has been lifted.
Tyler Thygesen, Audubon County Emergency Management Coordinator, issues a reminder to anyone performing a controlled burn to call Audubon County Dispatch at 712-563-2631. Be prepared to notify the dispatcher of your name, call-back number, address of controlled burn and what you are burning. It is a requirement to follow the Iowa Department of Natural Resources open burning regulations.
