Adams County Sheriff’s Report

(Adams Co) The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports several arrests between November 22^nd and December 5^th.

Dennis Nekuda, 60, of Corning, was arrested December 5^th for Operating While Intoxicated 1^st Offense. Nekuda was also cited for additional traffic violations.

Christian Sexton, 21, of Bellevue, Nebraska, was arrested December 5^th for Sexual Abuse 2^nd Degree. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Cass County  Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.

Jacob Franson, 35, of Villisca, was arrested December 1^st for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Patrick Jones, 54, of Lenox, was arrested November 30^th on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Operating While Intoxicated 1^st Offense and Interference with Official Acts.

Desiree Ladd, 25, of Council Bluffs, was arrested November 27^th on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Medication.

Makinze Reed, 33, of Lenox, was arrested November 23^rd for Operating While Intoxicated 1^st Offense. Additional charges and pending awaiting lab results.

Jasmine Caplinger, 20, Kally Burchett, 20, and Jeffrea Van Scoy, 18, all of Creston, were arrested following a traffic stop on 150^th Street and Willow Avenue on November 22^nd. All three were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Additional charges on Van Scoy are pending awaiting lab results.

Any potential criminal charges identified above are merely allegations and any defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
