(Atlantic) Atlantic Mayor Grace Garrett presented the Oath of Office to Police Officer Nicolas Whipple on Wednesday. Officer Whipple joined the force in November. He is a graduate of Bedford High School and a certified police officer in the state of Iowa.
Officer Whipple graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy with the 302 introductory Class. He joined the Iowa National Guard in 2022 and completed his basic and AIT training in October of this year.
In his spare time, Officer Whipple enjoys hunting, listening to music, attending concerts, spending time with friends, and reading books.
