(Polk County, IA) Motorists traveling into Polk County tomorrow through December 10, there will be some upcoming overnight road closures. The eastbound I-80 to northbound I-35 ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Then, on December 11th, westbound I-80 will be closed along with the ramp from westbound I-80 to westbound I-235, the loop from eastbound I-235 to westbound I-80, and the ramp from eastbound I-80 to northbound I-35.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says crews will work to place bridge beams on the new bridge at the interchange. Marked detours will be in place during the closures.
