(Atlantic) The Holiday festivities continued Saturday night in Atlantic with fireworks over the depot and the annual Chamber’s Lighted Christmas Parade down Mainstreet. (The parade video in its’ entirety is posted below this story).
Atlantic Executive Chamber Director Bailey Smth says over thirty floats rolled through the crowd lining the street.
The Floats competed for Best Overall, Best Holiday Spirit, and the Twinkle Twinkle Award.
This year’s Grand Marshall is Sheryl Dusenberry, winner of the annual Scrooge Contest. Dusenberry and the three other Scrooge candidates, Chet Meneely, Ed Hamilton, and Dean Junker, raised a record-breaking amount of cash donations and food items for the Atlantic Food Pantry.
