(Fremont Co) A Council Bluffs man died following a single-vehicle accident in Fremont County Tuesday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says 67-year-old James Herman Kinney was driving a 2019 Mack Tractor Trailer northbound on 370th Avenue, south of 150th Street, when the semi partially left the road, traveling on the right shoulder for several hundred feet. The semi left the road to the right and Kinney over-corrected back onto the road. The weight shifted in the trailer, causing the tractor and trailer to overturn on its right side.
Kinney was freed from his seat belt and lifesaving measures were immediately performed. He was transported by Shenandoah Rescue to the Shenandoah Hospital where he died from his injuries.
