(Des Moines) Iowa students are doing better at math. A new Iowa Department of Education study finds math scores up a few percentage points. Eleventh graders showed the most gains. The report, however, finds little to no improvement in English-language arts. It also finds English learners, students with disabilities, and those eligible for free or reduced-price meals lag behind other students.
