(Atlantic) An Atlantic seven-year-old is raising money for the Splash Pad project. Finley Pieken is setting up a lemonade stand at the Discount Daze event in downtown Atlantic.
Finley is following her mother’s passion for this project.
And Finley has some incentive to raise a lot of money from Dr. Bandow.
Finley will set up in front of Relic in downtown Atlantic from noon until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, and you might hear some music playing in the background when you stop by her booth.
Meanwhile, participating Atlantic businesses will offer summer deals during Discount Daze, which runs today and tomorrow. One lucky shopper has the chance to win $250.00 in AtlantiCash. Shoppers are encouraged to post their shopping or dining selfies on Facebook during the event using the hashtag #MyAtlanticIA and #LoveLocal on the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.
