(Kimballton) The southwest Iowa town of Kimballton is still dealing with a bottled water advisory. The community is now two weeks into the advisory, with health officials telling them the tap water has too much manganese, which could lead to health problems. They’re being told they should only be drinking and using bottled water. Residents say their grocery bills are increasing because they now have to buy more water. Community health officials say they hope to have the situation taken care of by August 1st. In the meantime, residents can also pick up water bottles at the city clerk’s office.
