(Undated) — The entire state of Iowa is now in some form of drought or near-drought. Today’s U.S. Drought Monitor map shows an expansion of near-drought conditions in northwest Iowa, now covering a small area that was drought free last week. The rest of the state is largely unchanged with areas of extreme drought in western and southeast Iowa and severe drought in eastern and western Iowa.
