(Montgomery Co) A Stanton man died in a single-vehicle accident in Montgomery County Sunday evening.
Montgomery County Deputies were dispatched to the accident, located at 200th and J Avenue, at about 11:45 p.m. A male driver was reported unresponsive and trapped in the vehicle. Deputies and medical personnel arrived on scene and attempted to wake the driver with no success. Medical personnel had to extract the driver due to the severity of the collision.
The driver of the 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor, 21-year-old Jacob Brenner Helberg, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
