(Anita) One person suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 in Cass County.
Cass County Deputy Kyle Quist says the accident happened at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday on eastbound Interstate 80 near the 63-mile marker. Authorities summoned Life Flight but could not fly due to the hazardous weather. Ground Ambulance transported the unidentified male driver to CCMH for treatment of injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol investigated the crash. The other agencies assisting were the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Wiota and Anita Fire Departments, and Cass EMS.
