(Elk Horn) Last week, the Exira/EHK School Board approved an increase in substitute teacher pay. Schools Superintendent Trevor Miller says substitute teacher pay will increase to $160.00 daily to stay competitive with the area.
As far as teaching positions, Miller says they are in good shape. Miller says they have advertised for an additional High School English position.
The Board accepted the resignation of Sara Myers-Middle School High School Guidance Counselor.
The School Board approved the following contracts: Jeremy Blake, Paul McKay, and Jarrod O’Donnell, Driver’s Education Instructors. McKinzie Bricker, MS/HS School Counselor; Julie Hansen, Art Teacher; Emily Harris, Pre-School Teacher; and Pamela Parker, Food Service.
