(Silver City) A South Dakota man suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident in Mills County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 9:42 a.m. on Saturday near the 38-mile marker in the southbound lanes on Interstate 29. Authorities identified the injured person as 48-year-old Cody Murphy of Arlington, South Dakota.
According to the report, a southbound Harley Davidson HFX driven by Murphy lost control, ejecting Murphy from the bike. Murphy landed in the right lane of travel on the Interstate. The motorcycle slid into the median.
Silver City EMS transported Cody Murphy to Bergan Mercy Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
