(Griswold) A Shenandoah man faced charges following a two-vehicle accident on Highway 48 and 92.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened on June 13 at 8:00 a.m.
According to the report, a 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by Nathan Hobbie of Shenandoah failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign while traveling North on Highway 48, striking a westbound 2008 Chevrolet Colorado traveling on Highway 92 and driven by Gerald Bolton of Griswold.
The front end of the Dodge Avenger struck the Chevrolet Colorado on the driver’s side. Both drivers were checked out medically but denied emergent medical treatment. Upon closure of the investigation, Mr. Hobbie was charged with Operating While Intoxicated, Driving Under Suspension, and cited for Operating without Valid Insurance.
The Dodge Avenger sustained $4,500 in damage. The Chevrolet Colorado received $8,000 in damage.
