(Audubon) The Audubon County Board of Supervisors approved the 28E Agreements between the Sheriff’s Office and the cities of Exira, Kimballton and Gray.
Audubon County Sheriff Todd Johnson said the contracts are expiring, so they need renewed. He said there is very little change in the agreements.
Sheriff Johnson said the cities of Kimballton and Gray did not have a percentage of increase in their contracts and he shared with them what Exira is doing and both cities said they would be ok with that. The City of Brayton currently does not contract services with the Sheriff’s Office.
The Supervisors also approved the resignation of Deputy Gabe Christensen. Sheriff Todd Johnson said they have started the process to hire a new Deputy.
