Two Juveniles Cited for Assault while “Ding Dong Ditching” in Villisca

(Villisca) Two juveniles have been cited for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says on June 11^th, deputies were called to Villisca for a “Ding Dong Ditching” incident that had turned into an assault case. A group of four juveniles had been going around the town of Villisca and “Ding Dong Ditching” residences. They had gone to the area of the 400 block of S 2^nd Avenue where a verbal argument had started between the juveniles and 60-year-old Laura Cade. The argument had turned physical when Cade approached the juveniles.

Laura Cade was later transported to the hospital for injuries from the assault. Two of the four juveniles were cited into Juvenile Court.
