Update: Semi Accident Shuts Down Interstate 80 on Sunday

(Anita) There were no serious injuries in a semi-crash on Interstate 80 near the 66-mile marker involving a semi that blocked the Interstate for nearly two hours.

The accident happened at 10:54 in the eastbound lanes; traffic was rerouted to Wiota-through Anita and back on I-80 at the Adair on-ramp.

The Iowa State Patrol investigated the accident; no other details were reported.
