(Atlantic) A suspected stolen vehicle crashed into some farm equipment owned by Lindeman Tractor in Atlantic early this morning.
The Atlantic Police Department says Myson Kovac, of Atlantic, was driving southbound on Southwest 7th Street at around 3:43 a.m. and entered the west ditch. The vehicle continued in the ditch until it jumped a gravel driveway and came to rest after striking multiple combine corn/bean head carts.
Kovac was transported to Cass County Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The police department says the vehicle is suspected to be stolen and the accident is still under investigation.
The damage amount to the farm equipment estimated at $12,500. The vehicle sustained approximately $6,000 in damage.
