(West Des Moines) Used car prices in Iowa remain high, but there could be some relief as new car prices come down. The Iowa Independent Automobile Dealers Association says slow manufacturing of new cars has caused the price of used vehicles to increase over the last two years. A new report from the national website Used Car News says the average cost for a used car nationally is over 28 thousand dollars, a slight decline from April but up 44 percent from 2018.
