(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors this morning approved a request to amend Exhibit A of the Forgivable Promissory Note Agreement between the County and the City of Underwood.
Cindy Sorlien, City Administrator for the City of Underwood, explained to the Supervisors that at the last Council meeting there was discussion about the project and the forgivable loan and they made a motion to go to the Supervisors to request a change.

Board Chairman Brian Shea said he is in favor of this project.
Sorlein said there are so many grants they cannot get because of the median salary for Underwood, but the Federal Recreational Trails grant that is due October 1 is one they qualify for and she said the Supervisors’ support will be helpful to get that grant.
