(Audubon) The Audubon School Board Monday evening approved an increase in substitute pay and changes to the Para-Educator Pay Structure.
Superintendent Eric Trager said they did some research and figured out that they are getting a little behind on their substitute pay and so they increased their daily sub pay from $120 per day to $140 per day and their long-term pay they increased up to $180 per day.
Trager also explained the changes to the Para-Educator pay structure…
In other action, the Board approved the Budget Amendments and Expenditures from District Flexibility Funds following a public hearing.
The Board also approved increasing the student lunches and breakfast by ten-cents and the annual snack fee by $5.00 for the year.
Trager also noted they are building a new Greenhouse this summer so they named the old Greenhouse as surplus property and they had a local individual offer to purchase that for $800 and remove it from the school property.
