(Oskaloosa) Authorities have a suspect in custody in connection with a shooting in Oskaloosa.
Oskaloosa Police Officers responded to a shooting on Tuesday night at 709 D Avenue West. Arriving Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a Des Moines area hospital, where he remains. Hospitalized.
The investigation led to a suspect, 22-year-old Gavin Jones, wanting for Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury for his alleged involvement in the shooting.
Authorities have taken Jones into custody in Missouri.
