(Creston) A single-vehicle crash near the high school in Creston seriously injured the driver.
Creston Police said the accident happened at 8:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, on Townline Street. The driver is identified as 43-year-old Ryan Rinehart of Creston.
According to the report, when officers arrived, a gray 2005 Ford Fusion Sedan rested on its’ top against a utility pole facing southeast. The impact snapped the pole. Authorities say it is unknown what caused the crash.
Medic 1 flew Rinehart to a Des Moines Hospital.
