(Atlantic) The Atlantic School District’s 2023-2024 proposed certified budget shows a decreased property tax rate levy. Atlantic Schools Superintendent Steve Barber says school districts are required to complete and submit to the state each year.
Barber says there are four areas of expenditures. He says the one area most people are interested in is the tax rate.
The $13.00317 is per one thousand dollars of valuation.
The public hearing on the budget will be held on April 12 at 5:30 p.m.
