(Creston) A Shannon City man suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Union County.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 9:58 p.m. on Monday on Pole Road southeast of Creston. Authorities say 31-year-old Brandon David Frey of Shannon City suffered injuries in the crash.
The Sheriff’s report states Frey was driving a 2005 Ford F350 Super Duty southbound on Pole Road, went into the northbound lane, entered the ditch, went airborne over a fence into a field, and rolled before coming to rest its four wheels.
Frey was partially trapped in the vehicle and could not get out. Ground ambulance transported Frey to the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.
Authorities charged Frey with OWI 3rd Offense, driving with a suspended license, failure to maintain control, and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
