(Des Moines, IA) — Tip-off for the first round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament in Des Moines is now only days away. Local bars and restaurants are preparing for a lot of out of town guests. Tony Konecne manages at the famed Buzzard Billy’s near Wells Fargo Arena.
Konecne says he’s excited to serve all the out-of-town visitors.
He says with the first round tip-off set for just after lunch Thursday, managers with Buzzard Billy’s elected to open an hour early for customers.
