Iowa assistant and former EH-K star Jensen joining Assistant Coaches Hall of Fame

(Iowa City) Iowa Associate Head Coach Jan Jensen has been named to A STEP UP, Inc. Assistant Coaches Hall of Fame Class of 2023.

The Kimballton native has been with the Iowa women’s basketball program for 23 years. 19 of those seasons have been as Associate Head Coach. Jensen has helped Iowa reach 21 postseason appearances, four Big Ten tournament titles and two Big Ten regular season championships.

A STEP UP, Inc. became the first to exclusively recognize NCAA men’s and women’s assistant coaches in 2019.
