(Atlantic) Atlantic Code Enforcement Officer Kris Erickson appearing in front of the City Council last week, stated she is changing her code enforcement strategy. Erickson says she spent 2022 running all over town putting out little fires, and little fires are not fixing anything.
Erickson says Ron Flory is going to spend his summer handling grass abatements.
Erickson says there might be a well-kept neighborhood, except for one house.
Erickson says if they can start fixing those problems in these neighborhoods and work their way across town, we should see some improvement in Atlantic.
One year ago, the city lowered the maximum grass height from 12 inches to nine.
