(Cumberland) Cumberland Assistant Fire Chief Sean South tells KSOM/KS95 News the Cumberland and Massena Fire Departments responded to a residential fire for smoke in the home at around 6:00 p.m. at 70324 Richland Road in rural Cumberland.
South says the fire’s origin appears to be associated with a fuse panel.
Sean South says two people were in the home when the fire broke out, and both occupants were outside the home when they arrived. South says the house received extensive smoke and water damage. No one was injured in the blaze.
Sean South appreciated the response from both the Cumberland and Massena Fire Departments for providing ample manpower.
