(Marne) One person suffered injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 near the 54-mile marker north of Marne.
Cass County Deputy Kyle Quist tells KSOM/KS95 News the crash happened around 8:35 a.m. Saturday in the westbound lanes. A witness spotted the vehicle fishtail, lost control, entered the northbound ditch, and struck a tree.
There were two occupants in the vehicle. The driver was not hurt. Cass County EMS transported the passenger to the Cass County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The Marne and Atlantic Fire Departments responded to the scene, along with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Cass EMS. No names were released.
