Iowa’s Shotgun Deer Season Begins

(Undated)  —  Tomorrow (Saturday) is the start of shotgun deer season, the first of two seasons this month.

 

Tyler Harms, Iowa Department of Natural Resources.  He says deer are easier to see now that harvest is complete.  He says deer also tend to group together when the weather gets colder.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is reminding hunters about the HUSH program…

The venison is donated to the Food Bank of Iowa.
