(Anita) A semi-driver died in a single-vehicle crash in Cass County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 12:29 a.m. on Interstate 80. Authorities say a 53-year-old male from Las Vegas, Nevada died in the crash.
According to the report, the unidentified driver was driving a 2020 Volvo semi east in the westbound lane and struck a bridge pillar at exist 70.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Cass EMS assisted the Iowa State Patrol at the scene.
