(Council Bluffs) The Council Bluffs Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating an accident involving a nine-year-old boy struck by a vehicle.
Police say the accident happened at 8:37 p.m. on Saturday at Harrison Street and East Kanesville Boulevard in Council Bluffs. A westbound vehicle on East Kanesville struck a nine-year-old boy riding a bicycle northbound on Harrison Street.
Emergency crews transported the boy to the Nebraska Medical Center to treat injuries.
