(Glenwood) One person was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Glenwood on Monday.
The Glenwood Police Department says the accident happened at 4:26 p.m. on Coolidge Street. Shelley Dowd, 73, of Glenwood, was driving a 2015 Chevy Equinox eastbound on Coolidge Street from a stop sign. Dowd said she did not see a 2013 Ford pickup, driven by Andrea Carbis, 25, of Glenwood, who was northbound on Vine Street. Dowd attempted to cross the intersection and struck the pickup broadside.
Dowd was transported to Jenny Edmundson Hospital by EMS ground with possible injuries.
