(Gowrie) Cross Country season is off and rolling for ACGC. The Chargers began their 2022 season at SE Valley on Thursday. With a total of 51 points the ACGC boys won the meet title. The girls team scored 68 points to finish one back of St. Edmond.
The ACGC boys were led by a 5th place performance from Gavin Sloss while Bo Arrasmith and Andrew Mahaffey joined him in the top ten with 7th and 8th place runs, respectively. Lance Bunde, in 15th, and Noah Kading, in 16th, rounded out the scoring runners.
Ava Campbell led the Charger girls with her 3rd place run. Adalyn Benson and Hayden Coffman finished back-to-back at 14 and 15. Katelyn Schafer ran 19th with Paige Van Meter 26th and Kiersten Knobbe 31st.
