(Atlantic) The Atlantic City Council approved the third and final reading of an ordinance regarding parking regulations near the food pantry.
The Atlantic Food Pantry submitted a letter to the city in early spring, requesting a change that would allow parking along the west side of Palm Street between 6th and 7th Streets for the two-hour period from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursdays. This would cover the time when cars may be waiting in line for the pantry drive-through distribution.
Changes to the ordinance were drafted regarding the parking regulations that would allow the request to be integrated into City Code.
