(Harlan) Harlan City Administrator Gene Gettys reported to the City Council Tuesday evening that a pre-construction meeting was held Monday at the airport on the taxiway improvements.
Gettys said they expect to start construction at the end of the month or first part of September. He said there may be a temporary construction access off of Highway 59 during the project.
Gettys then reported that Western Engineering is projected to start next week on the milling and overlay project.
Gettys also noted that the public pool is closing this Sunday.
