(Atlantic) Keira Olson and Bryan York were crowned Cass County Fair Queen and King Thursday night at the Cass County Fairgrounds in Atlantic.
Keira is a member of the Pymosa 4H Club and the daughter of Jon and Kate Olson of Atlantic. Bryan is a Bear Grove Blazers 4H Club member and the Atlantic FFA. He is the son of Dave and Kristy York of Atlantic.
The 2022 Princess is Paige Jensen, a member of the Grant Guys and Gals 4H Club, the CAM FFA, and the daughter of Ryan and Eva Jensen. The 2022 Cass County Fair Prince is Logan Evans, a member of the Griswold Clubsters and the Griswold FFA. He is the son of Ryan and Jessie Evans of Griswold.
Miss Congeniality is Elizabeth Anderson of the Bear Grover Blazers and the daughter of Jason and Lori Anderson. Mr. Congeniality is Dylan Comes, a member of the Atlantic FFA and the son of Chad and Tresa Comes.
The candidates filled out an application and turned it into the extension office. The judging process started on July 11; the candidates appeared at the Cass County Community Center for the preliminary judging session for individual and group interviews. Additionally, the candidates were judged on their appearance, personality, leadership, citizenship, and communication skills.
The twelve queen candidates were; Elizabeth Anderson, Rachel Becker, Sydney Becker, Mallory Behnken, Natalie Behnken, Cece Hensley, Paige Jensen, Rio Johnson, Payton LaPorte, Emma Mundorf, Keira Olson, and Trista Swain.
The seven King candidates included; Tristan Becker, Dylan Comes, Brett Dreager, Collin Evans, Logan Evans, Nolan Hensley, and Bryan York.
Keira Olson will represent Cass County at the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest.
