(Harlan) Emergency Management Coordinator Alex Londo is asking Shelby County residents to report damage from Saturday evening’s storm.
Londo reported downed trees and powerlines in Harlan, Portsmouth, and other locations throughout the county.
To report damage, call 712-755-2124, and it will be sent to the state for possible assistance.
If you qualify for assistance, someone will reach out and discuss the process. Londo says this is not a guarantee an individual will receive help, but there is a potential for it. He asks callers to leave their name, address, phone number, type of damage, and insurance information on the damaged property.
