(Corning) This week, the Corning School Board approved a large project at the High School Activity Center. Schools Superintendent Chris Fenster says the plan will replace the Boiler system with two smaller, more efficient boilers and add air-conditioning to the gym facility.
The project cost is around $225,000, paid for by Esser funds. In other business, the School Board approved the hiring of Lisa Sparks as the new Head Volleyball Coach.
The Board met during a special session on April 18 at the Corning Boardroom.
