Atlantic Community School District planning Trojan Experience for students this summer

(Atlantic) The Atlantic Community School District is working on a summer program for students called the Trojan Experience.

Atlantic Superintendent Steve Barber said they are still in the planning phase, but the program will focus on nutrition, academics and enrichment.

Barber said they are still in the process of securing the staff for those classes and then they will release more information to the community. Barber said this program will serve two groups; incoming 1^st through 4^th graders and incoming 5^th – 8^th graders.
