Wind Chill Advisory

(Des Moines) The National Weather Service in Des Moines issued a Wind Chill Advisory for most of Iowa starting at 6:00 p.m. this evening through noon on Thursday.

Bitterly cold temperatures near zero and gusty winds will cause wind chills to plummet to 20-30 below zero.

On Friday morning, the wind chills will be similar to Thursday morning.
