(Atlantic) The fourth annual “Top Shot” hosted by Atlantic businessman Erich Wickman of Wickman Chemical is underway. The money raised from the event goes towards the Atlantic Police Departments’ kids programs.
Atlantic Police Chief Dave Erickson says the proceeds from this event give a real boost to the kid’s programs: shop with a cop, Christmas dreams, the zoo trip, and kids campout.
Wickman says there has been an issue with the shortage of shotgun shells.
The participants will shoot 20-rounds for $20.00. In return, Erich provides the range, the clay pigeons, insurance, and all of the other expenses that go along with the event that runs Monday-Thursday night from 5:00 p.m. until dark through the middle of September. Wickman says it can be arranged for larger groups to shoot on the weekends. Wickman says the targets will be re-set every couple of weeks.
Those interested are asked to call Erich Wickman at 712-243-7739.
