The Cougars got two hit games from Maddie Holtz and Karys Hunt. Marissa Spieker, Mallory Behnken, and Lilly Applegate drove in two runs each. Helen Riker struck out seven and walked two while allowing five hits in seven innings.
Griswold 12, Fremont-Mills 2
The Tigers got another home run from Makenna Askeland, her 6th of the year. She ties the single season school record held by Debbie Klindt (1979). Askeland drove in five runs on the night and was one of five players with a multi-hit game. Jenna Reynolds had a single and double with two RBI. Erynn Peterson breaks Darcie Berry’s single season record of 30 steals (1995). Peterson now has 31 swipes on the season. The Tigers have won 12 in a row and are 22-1. Karly Millikan struck out seven batters and allowed four hits.

Tianna Kasperbauer pitched the game one win and struck out eight batters. Emily Brouse had a home run among her two hits. Jordan Heese, Kate Heithoff, Kasperbauer, and Julia Schechinger all had two hit games as well. Brouse fired a 2-hit shutout with 11 K’s in game two. Aurora Miller and Madison Schumacher each hit a home run.
ACGC 14, Panorama 12
The Chargers stormed back from a one run deficit in the 7th. Tori Fuller hit a two run homer and Mady Kelsey went deep twice. One of Kelsey’s shots was a grand slam. Kylie Young had four hits including a home run and a double.
