Griswold 13, Stanton 5
Griswold scored seven in the 1st and four in the 7th. They racked up nine hits and six walks. Doubles came off the bats of Makenna Askeland and Jenna Reynolds. Both drove in three runs. Erynn Peterson recorded four steals. Anna Kelley and Lydia Greiman each had two RBI. Brenna Rossell got the win in the circle. Over 5 1/3 innings she struck out four, walked none, and gave up seven hits. Tara Peterson, Ali Silvius, and Jenna Stephens all had two hits for the Viqueens.
West Harrison 4, CAM 2
The Cougars led 2-0 until they gave up four runs in the 5th. Lilly Applegate had two hits including a double. Karys Hunt, Meredith Rich, and Mallory Behnken all singled. Helen Riker struck out 12 batters, walked none, and allowed eight hits.
Riverside 7, Treynor 6
Kenna Ford and Katie Messerschmidt each had two hits and drove in a run. Ari McGlade posted a double and two RBI. Stella Umphreys homered for Treynor.
Exira-EHK 8, Coon Rapids-Bayard 5
Quinn Grubbs and Macy Emgarten each hit triples. Mollie Rasmussen and Makenzie Riley each had a single. Courtesy runner Gracie Bartz scored three runs. The Spartans trailed 4-1 until the 4th, but outscored the Crusaders 7-1 in the final three innings. They improve to 17-3.
Audubon 6, Missouri Valley 5
Missouri Valley scored all five of their runs in the 6th inning to take the lead, but Audubon responded with a four run 7th. Mattie Nielsen provided the walkoff hit. Each team had eight hits, but Missouri Valley committed seven errors compared to Audubon’s two. Nielsen and Hannah Thygesen each had two hits. Thygesen’s night included a triple. Addie Hocker drove in two runs. In five innings Aexis Obermeier gave up six hits, three walks, three earned runs, and struck out one. Kali Irlmeier allowed two hits, no walks, one earned run, and struck out two in two innings.
