(Atlantic) The Cass County Fair will return to pre-COVID-19 status when it opens on July 28. Last year, to meet CDC mitigation guidelines, the Cass County Fair Association canceled all non-4H and FFA activities.
Fair Board President Curtis Bierbaum is looking forward to the return of the pre-COVID fair activities. “It will be a welcome site having everyone coming back to the fair without restrictions,” said Bierbaum. “We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the fair and come watch the shows just it was before COVID.”
The Cass County Fair Association recently released the entertainment lineup. The 4H King and Queen Selection kick off the evening entertainment on Thursday night, followed by the Bull Ride on Friday night, and Truck and Tractor Pulls on Saturday night.
“Double “S” Bull Company is coming in again this year, and they always put on a great show for us,” said Bierbaum. “The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Truck and Tractor Pulls are coming in on Saturday night, and a new event comes to the Fair on Sunday night-golf cart races, also known as the “nag Races.”
This will be entertaining to watch. The golf cart driver is blindfolded and the passenger must verbally direct him or her through an obstacle course.
The Cass County Fair runs from July 28 to August 3.
