(Anita) The Anita City Council approved engineering contracts for the City Hall Restroom Improvement project and Fire Station Roof Improvement project at their meeting Wednesday.

Littleton said with the Fire Station, the roof simply needs replaced.
In other news, the Council approved the appointment of Simon Jensen to fill the vacant City Council seat that was held by former Councilman John Knutson who was appointed to the Office of Mayor on March 10th.
The Council also approved the appointment of Kevin Littleton as Mayor Pro Tem.
